Latest news from Nutty's HQ

It's been a while since our last blog post. Since April, we've been busy doing dozens of Boredom Busting Videos during lockdown with my daughter, Lola and I on Facebook, Online Parties and, from July, we were back in the real world.

The easing of lockdown measures meant we were performing face to face parties again for small groups of children mainly outdoors, plus we had a wonderful summer contract during August performing three parties a week in the beautiful surroundings of Wimborne St Giles in Dorset at the uber cool Cloud Nine Glamping- https://www.cloudnineglamping.com.

We also had the pleasure of running 6 weeks of our Summer Holiday Club in West Norwood where, despite the huge amount of hard work involved especially in light of being 'Covid Safe', was incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. The kids loved it!

We really felt, as we eased in to September and more face to face parties were happening again, that we were moving back to where we were in March and then.... Bam. The Rule of Six came in to force and the phone didn't ring as much and the emails hardly came in!

What were we going to do??

Well, we're still here and can perform face to face parties with one entertainer and 5 children as long as the parents are in a separate space. And we're still able to perform our brilliant Online Parties with a virtual party entertainer beamed as a Zoom children's party directly to your living room!

We'd love to be back where we were in March of this year or even August, but we're not and we have to hang in there. So many other creative, performing based businesses like cinemas, theatre, musicians, technicians and event professionals are being hit hard by this brutal pandemic. But we have to stay positive, adapt and most of all, be hopeful that things will get better.

In the words of my brilliant Lola, 'stay safe and healthy, guys'!
