What a year so far...

I think a lot of us are in agreement about this aren't we? It's been challeging, stressful, worrying, unsettling and upsetting.

Coronavirus has taken over so much of our lives and for all of us that run small businesses, it's been incredibly difficult. Some businesses haven't survived and some have barely pulled through. We are one of the lucky ones who have managed to keep going with government grants, online parties and, properly again since May this year, our holiday clubs and many face to face parties again.

We've had to adapt so much. Keeping our eye on the news, changing our methods, trying to keep everyone safe and healthy. We've also had to cancel some parties because of Covid cases but on the whole, we've kept our head above water.

But the biggest pay off for us is the kids. THAT'S what really keeps us going. Seeing their faces, their eyes lighting up when we tell them stories, their laughing faces when we're being silly, their energy, their connections with their friends.

So here's to a Merry Christmas to you all, especially the kids and here's to a, hopefully, more straightforward year for 2022!
