I think a lot of us are in agreement about this aren't we? It's been challeging, stressful, worrying, unsettling and upsetting.
Coronavirus has taken over so much of our lives and for all of us that run small businesses, it's been incredibly difficult. Some businesses haven't survived and some have barely pulled through. We are one of the lucky ones who have managed to keep going with government grants, online parties and, properly again since May this year, our holiday clubs and many f...Read Full Post »

After yet another lockdown, we are all starting to ease our way out of the abyss, move away from online parties (we still offer them though!) and claw our way back to reality.
How nice is it to see our friends and family again? Sip a cold beer in a (also cold!) beer garden? Go clothes shopping again?
For us, it's really nice to be able to do face to face parties again. And since yesterday's government annoucement that we're on track for the next phase of the Covid roadmap, i...Read Full Post »

Happy New Year? For some, yes, for others, not quite so...
When the countdown happened on midnight on 31st December 2020, a lot of us I think were united with some of these thoughts-
'Thank goodness that year is over', 'Bring on 2021', 'Bye bye horrible year!'.

Then a glimmer of hope emerged. We noticed that other entertainers were performing via Zoom! Having never been on Z...Read Full Post »

It's been a while since our last blog post. Since April, we've been busy doing dozens of Boredom Busting Videos during lockdown with my daughter, Lola and I on Facebook, Online Parties and, from July, we were back in the real world. The easing of lockdown measures meant we were performing face to face parties again for small groups of children mainly outdoors, plus we had a wonderful summer contract during August performing three parties a week in the beautiful surroundings of Wimborne St Gil...Read Full Post »

Since the news that Coronavirus was spreading across the UK faster than we thought and we had to go on a full lockdown, we have been devasted here at Nutty's Towers that we have had to postpone or cancel several bookings.
Running parties is what we do and being right there in situ with the children is how it works for us. Not being able to perform face to face has not only been financially damaging, but has also affected us emotionally too. We love making kids laugh, taking them on a m...Read Full Post »
