Pirate Dan/Pirate Girl and The Dinosaur Adventure!

The first 5-10 mins are spent with Pirate Dan meeting and greeting the kids, writing names on stickers etc.- which acts as a nice ice breaker. Then the kids are gathered round and Pirate Dan starts to tell them that he needs their help to find the 'magic sweets treasure which has been stolen by the evil Pirate Dinosaur, Mad Tony The T-Rex. But, before they embark on their adventure, he needs them to do some warm up games: stretching, star jumps, etc. and some original games which follows with a singing section whereby Pirate Dan gets them to sing along with a couple of songs (with me, I use my guitar). Then the storytelling section takes part and Pirate Dan tells them how he and his crew went to find the treasure (using a world map) and how it got stolen. The kids are invited to act parts out and then a map is found. This is where the kids really get to use their imaginations and pretend they are swimming through Jurassic shark infested waters, crossing the wibbly wobbly bridge, walking through quick sand etc. whilst following the dinosaur clues that fall their way... After a funpacked, highly physical and exciting hour, the treasure is found (hidden first by Pirate Dan!) and the kids all get a 'magic sweet' each. Then, for the two hour option, there is a 25-30min break for tea, followed by 30 mins of classic party games with Pirate Dan (grandma's footsteps, captain's coming, musical statues etc.) which culminates with a couple more sweet prizes, some sticker prizes and a prize for the birthday child, all provided for by Pirate Dan.
