About our Creative Arts & Crafts party
One of our brilliant team, donning a Nutty’s t-shirt, with a roll of large paper, pens, colourful card, glue and more, will meet and greet the kids with a warm smile, a high five, and give them a sticker with their name on. While the rest of the guests arrive, the kids can do some colouring-in on themed colouring-in sheets. Then the kids will have a chance to talk through the theme of the party and then the creative play can commence: creating their own life-sized drawing of a super hero or pirate, for example, with coloured pens and showing everyone what they’ve done; then a prop (like a princess wand or pirate cutlass)- all of which they can take home. Then after their party tea, some trademark Nutty’s Classic Party Games!

The entertainer kicks things off with some background music on and meeting and greeting the kids, writing names on stickers etc. They’re then invited to go to the creative table where they can do some colouring in for images based on the theme (dinosaurs, pirates, rockets etc.) with coloured pens, pencils and glitter pens. They’re then invited to get in to small groups and one child from each group lays down on a large piece of paper and someone draws around them. They then, as a group, create their own character (again depending on the theme it could be an astronaut, super hero etc.), give him/her a name, some special features, add colour etc and then show and tell the rest of the whole group what they’ve created! The next activity is even more creative. They make something they can take home using carboard, glitter pens, glue, string, plastic bottles, stick on ‘jewels’ etc.! For pirates- it’s a cutlass, mermaids- a necklace, animals- a mask etc. Then it’s food break time for around 25-30 minutes, followed by the classic party games section: stuck in the mud, grandma’s footsteps, etc. always ending with musical statues at the end and some sticker and sweet prizes, a Nutty’s sticker prize for all and a gold medal for the birthday child!
