About our Classic Party Games party

We have two packages on offer, one for ages 3-5 and the other for ages 6-9. The entertainer - donning a Nutty’s T-shirt, a winning smile, and with limitless energy - spends the first 5-10 minutes meeting and greeting the kids, then puts them through their paces for some trademark Nutty's warm up exercises, and then on with either an hour or two hours (which of course includes a break for food after one hour) of games, games, games and more games!

Which games we hear you ask? Captain’s Coming, Grandma’s Footsteps, Wink Murder, Duck Duck Goose, Musical Statues and more…


  • The first 5-10 minutes are spent with the entertainer (sporting a Nutty’s T shirt and a winning smile) meeting and greeting all the kids, writing names on stickers etc. He or she then explains what they’ll be doing- playing lots of fun party games! But in order to do so they do some warm up exercises: running on the spot, star jumps etc. and then crack on with various games including (for ages 3-5): The Remote Control Game (an original Nutty’s game which is very physical and great for concentration), Duck Duck Goose, Captain’s Coming, Grandma’s Footsteps, What’s The Time Mr Wolf and always ending with Musical Statues. For the 2 hour option there is a break for food after an hour for around 25-30 minutes and for the one hour option we run straight through and make sure we fit in Musical Statues at the end too. For ages 6-9 all the above is the same but the choice of games varies a little with other games including: Wink Murder, Simon Says and Polo (one player stands on one end of the room and the others crowd round the other end. The one player shouts out a theme- like Star Wars, food, cities, etc and then the group then agree amongst themselves what their individual choice will be. Then when they’re ready, they line up at the end of the room and the single player shouts out a city (if cities is the subject), like, London for example. Then if one of the players from the big group has chosen it, they run to the side of the room the single player is on and back- and visa versa for the single player- and whoever gets back to their side first by touching the wall and shouting ‘polo!’ wins and they get another go/take over. If the single player shouts out a city for example that no one has, they keep trying until someone has one.)
    The party ends with a few sweet and sticker prizes and a toy gold medal for the birthday child.
