Racing Car Dan!
About the theme…
Racing Car Dan loves driving fast cars!
He's won trophies and medals all over the world from driving competitions as far away as Spain, Brazil and Australia. But! His car, Daring Darren, is not feeling very well... Racing Car Dan needs the kids help with an exciting, imaginative driving adventure to help make Daring Darren better again! A driving mission ensues travelling through the muddy field, zig-zagging across rough roads, up mountains and through dark tunnels following the clues along the way...

The first 5-10 mins is spent with Racing Car Dan meeting and greeting the kids, writing names on stickers etc. and then he gathers them round and explains, via a short story, that he needs their help to find the Racing Car Sweets that will help his car, Daring Darren, feel better! They then all stand in a circle and play a series of warmup games (star jumps, press ups etc.), then some original drama-inspired games, followed by some singing and then they go on the adventure… imagining they're driving up mountains, through tunnels, zig-zagging down hills etc. and, using the clues that fall their way, they then find the sweets. The hour ends there. Then for the 2 hour option, there is a break for food for about 25-30 minutes followed by 30 mins or so of party games including: Racing Car Dan's Coming (like Captain's Coming), grandma's footsteps etc. ending with musical statues with some sweet, sticker prizes and a prize for the birthday child.
