Go on a magical 'underwater' journey with The Mermaid, and act out being mermaids, too…
The mermaid needs the kids' help to retrieve the Magical Underwater Sweets Treasure stolen by the nasty pirate, One-Leg Lucifer. Follow the clues with the help of Sammy The Starfish, written notes, and a magic map to unlock the treasure!

The Mermaid Adventure involves the entertainer meeting and greeting the kids at the start, writing names on stickers and then gathering them round to ask them why they're all there. She then explains she need their help to find the Magical Underwater Sweets that have been stolen by the evil pirate, One Leg Lucifer. She gets them all warmed up and ready for the story/adventure by playing a series of games and exercises (including star jumps, running on the spot etc. and other games) and then some singing. The story then starts and the Mermaid tells of her travels in search of the treasure and gets them to act out parts of the story. Then they find their map-‐ with the aid of her friend, Sammy The Star Fish-‐ and they use their imaginations to swim through the seaweed, the underwater tunnel, pick imaginary fruit from the magic tree, find clues etc. They eventually find the sweets and they all get one each! And there ends the first hour.
The second hour consists of a 25-‐30 break for the kids to have their tea, followed by classic party games run by the mermaid: Mermaid Says (like Simon Says), Grandma's Footsteps and Musical Statues, for example.
