The Princess Adventure!
About the theme…
The princess welcomes the children outside her magical castle and gets to know all the other princesses (and princes too!). She then tells them that she has been held captive by an evil lord and she needs the children to play some games with her and follow the tasks set on a special map by the Fairy Godmother (who has let her out of the castle for one day only!) to help her escape forever!
If, however, your child is a fan of Elsa, Ana and the Frozen films, we can happily give the story, adventure and games a Frozen twist and make the character a Snow Princess!

The Princess Adventure starts with the Princess meeting and greeting the kids, writing names on stickers, etc. and then after 5-10 mins, settles them down to say what the adventure will be: she has been magically transferred by the fairy godmother for one day only from the confines of the castle of Lord Christopher III, an evil knight! She then asks them if they'll help her find the 'Magic Sweets' that will let her escape forever, with the help of the fairy godmother (in the guise of a small toy!). Some warm up games ensue with stretching, star jumps, etc. followed by some original games and then she tells them the story: of how she was an innocent flower picker who was wooed by Lord Christopher to live with him in his castle. She then realized after months of being there that she was trapped! The story is very interactive and theatrical. Then the fairy godmother informs her that there is a map to use to find the sweets! They then follow the map all the while using their imaginations, physicality, to follow the clues and to swim through the golden lake, climb the slippery wall, eat fruit from the magical tree etc. The sweets are then found, they all get one each and she is free! Then there's a break of 25-30 mins for tea (this is the two hour option), the Princess offers to bring the cake out at the end and sing Happy Birthday and then there's the classic party games section: Princess Says (like Simon Says), Grandma's Footsteps etc. culminating in Musical Statues with a couple of extra sweet prizes and one for the birthday girl.
