Do you and your young ones like to limbo? Or perhaps Gangnam Style is more your thing? Maybe you can't get enough of the air guitar, funky street dance moves, laughing whilst dancing and your miming skills are second to none?!… With a Nutty's Disco party, all of these talents and more are put to the test.

What happens at a Nutty’s Disco Party?

One of our experienced, professional and joyous disco party entertainers will bring everything needed for an uplifting, banging party, with games, competitions and plenty of great music to keep everyone dancing. We can definitely take requests, and will bring some disco lights and proper speakers to really make sure everyone is in a proper party mood.

Oh, and we do offer a sidekick if required, too... Plus, we all have full public liability insurance and all of our equipment is fully PAT tested for your peace of mind.


  • The first 5-10 minutes are spent meeting and greeting the kids, writing names on stickers with the DJ/entertainer, whilst some music is playing in the background. Then we announce, via the microphone, that we're all here for the birthday child, some golden rules are mentioned and then we kick off with some games.

    We usually start with a simple dance routine, making it fun and silly and then a whole variety of games: Musical Action Statues (which is a bit like Musical Statues but they have to stop when the DJ stops the music and he then announces an animal and then, when the music comes back on, they dance and makes sounds like the animal!)We then usually play the Blanket Game (all the kids dance around and when the music stops they lie on the floor curled up in a ball and the DJ/entertainer covers one of them with the blanket. They all then have to guess who is under it!). Then it’s the Limbo!

    Then it's usually a break for food for 25-30 minutes, where the DJ continues to play music. He announces the Happy Birthday song towards the end and then it’s more competitions and games including- a sing-a-long competition, best air guitar competition and a dancing duo competition all with sticker prizes.

    Games include: Musical Grandma’s Footsteps and Musical Bumps and for the older kids (ages 7-11), Switch (a fun dance instruction game), The Mirror Dancing Game (like a real life version of Just Dance, the video game) then at the end, Musical Statues with some extra sweet prizes for best dancer and most stillest person overall.

    We then finish with the birthday child getting a toy gold medal and then all the kids are given a Nutty’s sticker prize as they leave.
