Builder Dan!

The first 5-10 minutes are spent with Builder Dan meeting and greeting the kids, writing names on stickers etc, which gives them all a chance to arrive. He then gathers them around and explains a little about his latest building project which is: working for a very rich man, Lord Charlie. And Lord Charlie has asked Builder Dan to do some building tasks with some kids which will hopefully result in them all finding a prize: some builder sweets! Builder Dan then gets them all to do some warm up games: stretching, running on the spot, some original drama type games, some singing and followed by the all important story which reveals their mission in more detail. He tells them he has to build a big sports hall for Lord Charlie but how the building site was vandalized by a gang of foxes! And as the sports hall is actually for his grandchildren, he thought it only fitting that Builder Dan finds some kids to help him. Then, using their imaginations they drive the builder truck to the site and work their way around fixing everything! They clean out Callum the Cement Mixer, pick up Ladder Larry, find the missing bricks and more, resulting in finding the sweets and they all get one each. This is where the one hour option ends. For the two hour option we then break for food for around 25-30 minutes, followed by some party games: Grandma’s Footsteps, Stuck In The Mud, etc. always ending with Musical Statues with some extra sweet and sticker prizes and a prize for the birthday child, which is usually a gold medal!
